§ Receipts for creators

When a subscriber leaks your content, you know which one.

Privly, Ovarra, BranditScan all charge $30–$200/month for the same per-subscriber watermarking workflow. receipts.you does it free in your browser — mint one invisibly-watermarked copy per subscriber, send each their copy, and when one shows up on a leak site you drop it into the Snitch Tracker and the variant id tells you who. The image bytes never leave your device. The DWT+DCT+SVD watermark recovers across Instagram / Twitter / Telegram round-trips in our synthetic test suite — run it against your own content at /lab to see how it holds on your material before trusting the numbers.

Workflows creators actually run

described as they happen, not as marketing
  1. 01

Mint one watermarked copy per subscriber tier.

Drop your content into /track. Enter your subscriber tier list (PPV buyer #1, PPV buyer #2, Tier-3 sub @handle, etc.) — one line per recipient. We mint one invisibly-watermarked copy per name, each with a unique 60-bit recipient ID baked into the image at three frequency bands. The names live on your machine; we only see hash + variant id mapping.

  2. 02

    Send each subscriber their copy.

Download all the watermarked variants. Send each subscriber their named copy through your normal channel (OnlyFans DM, Fansly DM, custom drip). Every variant is visually identical to your original; nobody sees the watermark, including you.

  3. 03

A leak shows up on a leak site.

Drop the leaked image into the Snitch Tracker verify step. The DWT+DCT+SVD layer extracts the embedded variant id, tells you which subscriber's copy was leaked, and surfaces the original receipt with timestamps and the variant tag you assigned. The leak survives social-media re-encoding — extract works against Instagram/Twitter/Telegram round-trips, light cropping, and JPEG re-compression down to q40.

  4. 04

Use the receipt as DMCA evidence.

The receipt URL is a public, dated, cryptographically signed page anchored to a public blockchain. Use it as the evidentiary attachment in your DMCA takedown — the registrar / platform / hosting provider can independently verify the timestamp predates the leak.

What it maps to in your world

the standards and rules already on your desk
  • Free forever — Cloudflare's free tier carries the load. No $30/mo subscription, no rate-limit-into-upsell, no signup. Comparable enterprise tools (IMATAG, Digimarc, Steg.AI) start at $500+/mo.
  • Image bytes never leave your browser — only the 32-byte hash + the 16-byte perceptual hash reach our worker. Privly and Ovarra both upload your image to their infrastructure; we don't.
  • DWT+DCT+SVD watermark robustness measured against canonical platform pipelines in a synthetic 512×512 test corpus: JPEG q40-q90 recovers, resize 0.5×-2× recovers, partial crop ≤50% recovers. Real-world content (your screenshots, your photos) will vary — run the test rig yourself at /lab to see actual numbers on your material before treating the synthetic numbers as a guarantee.
  • Open source — the verifier client, the watermark algorithm, and the test rig are all on GitHub under MIT. Read the code; the cryptography is auditable.
  • No mandatory monitoring SaaS coupling — we don't bundle scanning + takedown into the same product. If you also want scanning, plug in BranditScan / Rulta as a separate service; receipts.you handles the watermark and the proof.

Specific answers

Q.01

Why is this free when Privly and Ovarra charge $30-50/mo for the same thing?

They bundle watermarking with leak-site monitoring + automated DMCA filing. receipts.you only does the watermark + proof — the highest-value, lowest-cost-to-run part. Cloudflare's free tier covers our hosting; we don't need to charge to keep the lights on. Monitoring services are separately useful and you can subscribe to one of those AND use receipts.you — they're complementary, not competing.

Q.02

Will the watermark survive a JPEG screenshot on the leaker's phone?

Yes — the DWT+DCT+SVD layer survives JPEG re-compression at quality ≥40 (which is more aggressive than any consumer phone applies). Test it on your own content at /lab before relying on it.

Q.03

Will it survive Twitter / Instagram / Telegram re-uploads?

In our synthetic 512×512 test corpus, the canonical platform pipelines (resize to 1080-1600px longest edge + JPEG q70-85) recover the watermark (CRC-validated). Real-world content varies — we strongly recommend running the test at /lab against actual frames from your library before trusting that the recovery rate holds for your specific material.

Q.04

Will it survive cropping?

Up to ~50% of the image cut from any single edge — yes, because the watermark is embedded redundantly in 4 quadrants. If the leaker crops more than 60% of the image away, the watermark dies. Most leakers don't do this because it disfigures the content they're trying to leak.

Q.05

What if the leaker rotates the image or runs it through an AI generator?

Rotation past a few degrees defeats v1 of the watermark (no geometric synchronization template yet). Running through an AI image-to-image model can defeat it too. These are honest limits. The pHash + SHA layer still flags the bytes as not-matching, so you still have a strong 'this is not the file I sent you' signal even if you can't pin which subscriber.

Q.06

Can I keep using a monitoring service AND receipts.you?

Yes — they're orthogonal. Use BranditScan or Rulta for leak-site monitoring and DMCA automation. Use receipts.you to (a) cryptographically prove what you minted, when, and (b) identify which subscriber leaked when one is found.

Q.07

Is there a Pro tier I should know about?

Not yet. The free tier covers the workflow described here. If you have unusual volume (thousands of watermarked variants per drop, batch API integration, white-label receipt pages for your own brand) email [email protected] with your use case and we'll figure something out manually until paid tiers exist.

Free leak attribution. Built for creators.

Per-subscriber invisible watermarks, browser-side, no monthly fee. The receipt is the evidence; the variant id is the answer to 'which subscriber?'
